Ming Yi is a manufacturer of kitchen range hoods for nearly 27 years locates in Taiwan. Our distinctive designs vary from modern high quality stainless steel with decorative glass to classic island hood. Beside of instantly recognizable elegance and technology from Taiwan craftsmanship, all Ming Yi products are developed using the most advanced technology resulting in uncompromising, and quiet performance which leads the market in innovative kitchen solutions.
 
Few years ago, we have start our China factory and start to producing European style of kitchen hood. Both factory produces different kind of products for different type of markets. Because of our good background and experience built-up before, we have increase production rapidly. We are famous in our good quality.
 
Description of the Company
Ming Yi Development Co., Ltd. was established in 1979 at Taichung Taiwan and started to produce range hoods since 1980. In 1986, Ming Yi developed and manufactured the first stainless steel range hood for Taiwan market and gains the excellent reputation from the consumers, hence Ming Yi has became the leader of the range hood manufacture industry in Taiwan. During the total 28 years history, Ming Yi had been continuing to develop their products and invest their capital to purchase the related producing equipments such as hydraulic press, automatic NCT press, robot and also the related folding, multiple-welding, cutting machinery and upgrade the manufacture managing system to promote their producing ability and ensure the product quality.

To ensure the customers satisfaction, Ming Yi has not only developed various kinds of rang hoods such as the European style range hood, the Chimney range hood, the Tempered glass range hood, the Designer range hood, the Slim-line range hood and also the High exhaust hood to satisfy the markets requirements but also the built-in and land-top type kitchen dish dryer for markets and gains excellent feed-back from markets. Ming Yi has
her range hoods and dish dryers been awarded of the ¡¨Taiwan Excellence Product¡¨ from Taiwan Economic Affairs. Beside, Ming Yi has got her ISO 9002, 9001 quality assurance system in 1999 and 2002 and her products have got their CB and CE certification by their elegant design and trustable functions and quality which proved their manufacturing and quality management has reaches the internationalize level. 		 
To widen and expand the business territory, Ming Yi has established her China factory OSAMA Kitchen Appliance Co., Ltd (WUXI) at Wuxi, China, in 2004 and focus on developing and producing European style chimney hoods for the word-wide markets, during the first stage. And there are the related kitchen items will be produced by this company in the near future to comply the customer needs.

History

¡½ Stage 1: 1979~1987

1979 :

Ming Yi Enterprise established.

1980 : Start to produce range hood.
1986 : Developed stainless steel body on range hood --- the first manufacturer start to use S/S on range hood in Taiwan.
1987 : Move factory and established Ming Yi Industry Co; Ltd. At present address ( Shou -Shan village, Ta Ya Hsiang, Taichung, Taiwan) and start to export range hood to Hong Kong market.
 
¡½ Stage 2: 1988~1995
1988 : Adapted hydraulic press & developed first multiple welding points welder machine for range hood's shell manufacture.
1989 :

Adapted automatic NCT press and folding machine in order to expanded water & gas stove assembly line.

1991 : Developed double layer with tilted back and European style range hood.
1994 : Imported various European style kitchen equipments and accessories for local markets; reinforced producing management by internal computerized and processes improvement.
1995 : Established Ming Yi selling system and create 14 distributors in Taiwan.
   
¡½ Stage 3: 1996~1999
1996 :

Adapted and introduce robot to weld electric dish dryer's body to increase the quality and quantity.
1997 : Electric built-in dish dryer win Taiwan excellent product prize.
1998 : Win excellent demonstration med- small size enterprise from Taiwan economic administration.
1999 : (1) Developed Chimney style range hood.
(2) Built-in dish dryer has pass through the CE certificate
(3) Award ISO9002 certificate.
   
¡½ Stage 4: 2001~2003
2001:

Range hood win Taiwan excellent product prize for year 2002.
2002:

(1)Award ISO 9001 certificate.
(2)Create direct exhaust type range hood and win CNS certificate in first.
(3)Win Taichung country Golden Hand Prize

2003: (1)Create direct exhaust auto-clean type range hood and won various CNS certificate.
(2)Win medium-small enterprise innovation & Research Prize.
(3)Land-top type dish dryer won Taiwan excellent prize for year 2004.
   
¡½ Stage 5: 2004~
2004: Start a small factory in Wuxi for manufacture European style flat oil grease range hood.
2005: Expend factory and establish Wuxi factory and in the same year also become supplier of Electrolux in China.
2006: Whole series of products has passed through the CSA/US certification.
2007: Whole series of products has passed through the CE/RoHs certification.
